Dr. Matthew Hughes, originally from upstate New York, completed his undergraduate studies at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry/Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago. Dr. Hughes was awarded a residency in ocular disease and pathology and completed a post residency fellowship in advanced ocular disease. His practice is centered on the treatment of complex eye disorders. He lectures nationally on
advanced medical/surgical disease and practice management.
